EBP Health Champions Maldives
EBP Health Champions Maldives (EBPHC Maldives) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that was founded in February 2016 and has a well-deserved reputation for the introduction of evidence-based practice (EBP) in the Maldives.
This NGO is maintained by determined nurses and professional personnel who have devoted their invaluable voluntary services to implement EBP through research, education, consultation and direct assistance to hospitals and the communities in the Maldives. Its primary mission is to promote EBP in the field of healthcare.
Our vision at EBPHC Maldives is to create a society where practitioners use best practice as a definitive feature in delivering care. The NGO has been very successful. It has the active support of a large group of clinicians, leading international scholars from prominent universities, who dedicate their time to voluntary support the cause. In addition, EBPHC Maldives has conducted several programs across The Maldives, run several workshops and training sessions for healthcare professionals and the public.

Mission
To create and sustain Evidence-based Practice in organizations with limited resources; rural and remote communities in developing countries based on their needs and existing healthcare services and working in mutually supportive and collaborative partnerships.
Maldivian Nurses Association
MNA is the national professional voice of Maldivian Nurses, supporting them in their practice, professional growth and advocating for quality health care. It is an NGO that was founded in 2007.

Nurses: Autonomous and professional leaders working in collaboration with others to promote the nursing profession, fulfilling its commitment to excellence in practice, education, research, and social services, to provide quality care in achieving health for all.
Mission
MNA is the national professional voice of Maldivian Nurses, recognized nationally and internationally for promoting excellence in nursing through leadership, research, education, advocacy and sustainable health care practice in collaboration with others to achieve optimum health of the community, this primary commitment to society guides and shapes our efforts to foster ethical and professional nursing standards, promote professional development, incorporate evidence-based practice, contribute to health policy, and enhance professional practice environments.
